I have some events coming up in the next few months that I thought I should mention.
- I’ll be signing books at The Purple Cow bookstore in Tooele, UT on Saturday, February 12th at 2:00 PM. It’s their “Kids Love Authors Day” and it should be a lot of fun. For details, click here.
- I’ll be presenting at the “Teen Author Boot Camp” on Saturday, April 23rd. This is an all-day workshop for teen writers (open to ages 13 to 19) and a great opportunity. I wish I’d had something like this when I was a teen. Bestselling Kiersten White, author of Paranormalcy, will be giving the keynote speech. For details and registration, click here.
- I’ll be speaking at the annual conference of the Utah Library Association on May 13th. I’m excited about this, as the theme this year – Utah Libraries: At the Core of Our Communities – really speaks to me. For details, click here.
- I’ll be presenting at the Writing and Illustrating for Young Readers Workshop. This week-long workshop runs from June 13th to the 17th in Sandy, Utah. I’ll blog in more detail about this, I’m sure. I’m a huge fan of this workshop. For registration and details, click here.
I’ve also been doing school visits, and I’m having so much fun getting out and meeting young readers. If you’re interested in having me come speak to your students, feel free to contact me via the link in the side-bar.
